Assembly

Assembly, kitting, and custom work — billable, trackable, on the record

Work orders capture every job that isn't a normal pick-and-pack — assembly runs, inspections, repackaging, custom packouts. Each one tracks components, time, completion, and charges so it ends up on the right invoice without a side spreadsheet.

Work orders

The same Work Orders table dispatchers run from `/teams/work-orders`

WO number, type, status, merchant, warehouse, scheduled date, requested date, priority, assemblies, and requested-at — same columns operators rely on day-to-day. Status and priority on the row let dispatchers rebalance without opening every job.

Job model

What a work order actually is, in Cybership

Not a generic ticket queue. A real warehouse job with components, completion timestamps, and charges that flow into invoicing.

Assembly and custom work as first-class jobs

Assembly jobs ship a real assembled SKU with components consumed; custom work captures inspections, repackaging, or special handling without forcing a fake assembly model.

Picked, assembled, completed — captured per stage

Each stage timestamps on the record so ops can answer 'where did this stall' without reconstructing from chat or memory.

Charges that follow the job

Per-unit, per-hour, and per-order charge lines accrue as assembly progresses. Billing-ready totals roll up to the merchant invoice.

Operator assignment + priority

Priority and assignee live on the row so the dispatcher can rebalance work without spreadsheets.

Pick lists and instructions stay attached

Pick-list URLs, packing details, and assembly details ride on the work order so the operator at the bench gets the same brief the merchant sent.

Inventory consumption is real

Component inventory deducts when the assembly completes — assembled SKUs receive into the same on-hand model the rest of the warehouse runs on.
